Position Summary

The Logistics Supply Chain Manager oversees the full supply chain for a vertically intergrated company with in-house production, warehousing, wholesale distribution, e-commerce, and retail storefront operations. This role ensures seamless coordination between raw material procurement, manufacturing, inventory control, distribution, and retail replenishment, while maintaining strict regulatory compliance with UPS and USPS labeling requirements.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, compliance-driven, and capable of managing both production logistics and multi-location retail inventory systems in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain & Distribution Management

• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics for vertical distribution to all outlets
• Manage transportation, freight carriers, and third-party logistics providers
• Ensure timely fulfillment of wholesale, e-commerce, and retail orders
• Coordinate with production to align shipping schedules with manufacturing output
• Monitor and manage inventory levels across warehouse and retail locations

Cost Control & Performance Optimization

• Analyze shipping costs
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without sacrificing compliance or service
• Monitor KPIs including on-time delivery, order accuracy, and freight spending
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency

Team Leadership

• Supervise Fulfillment staff
• Train team members on compliance procedures and safety standards
• Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching
• Foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, and compliance
• Communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills for vendor collaboration. 

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred
• 3–5+ years of logistics or warehouse management experience

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience with batch tracking and product traceability systems
• Proficiency in ERP, inventory management, and shipping software
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory environment
